1. WebEDI

This advantages are contingent on more complexity. So any firm should verify if a full automatic EDI isn't more efficient then the transaction with WebEDI."
Here isn't more to subjoin to this statemement from the WebEDI recommendation of the GS1 Germany GmbH. With WebEDI the voucher acquisition will devolve from the voucher consignee to the voucher transmitter. This means more complexity than efficience. Cutting down the manual amount of work, the GS1 Germany GmbH develops data profiles and layout masks on basis of default EANCOM, which allows an unify and therewith simplify use from WebEDI. These are however limit to the important messages orders, invoices and delivery advice, at the moment.

2. Classical EDI

The most little and average firms dosen't use classical EDI, because of the high costs. Classical EDI processed the data full automatical, which suppose an automatic take over from data out of the inventory control system. The installation from this important interface is contingent on more complexity and high costs, because of induvidual adapt to the structure of the data. This often isn't supplied in classical EDI converter software, because of adduce from the producer of the inventory control system.

3. Classical EDI with EDI 4 ALL

With EDI4ALL a classical, full automatic EDI transaction is possible. EDI4ALL can use an ASCII interface, too. The great difference is the comlexity. The EDI4ALL-ASCII interface, which you find here, includes 2 pages. Many supplier description of the interface contains 80-100 pages, while the complete guidelines of the UN or the references of the ccg mbH fill more than 1000 pages. Even the limited Data profiles of using WebEDI includes 70 pages.

Also EDI4ALL dispose of a second possibility of data transfer: A Windows printer driver and therewith practical from each inventory control system.

This means that EDI4ALL is able to offer full automatical EDI, with even lower costs then using WebEDI.
